This policy applies to merchants and users who interact with Courses Plus and its integrations, including Google services such as Google Calendar, Zoom services such as Zoom meetings / webinars.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Shopify Data
When you install and use Courses Plus, we may collect and process:
- Store information (store name, domain)
- Merchant contact information (email address)
- Course data (courses, lessons, enrollments)
- Customer data (names, emails, progress data)
This data is provided by Shopify and your store configuration.
1.2 Integration related User Data (Google Calendar, Zoom Integrations)
If you connect your third-party service account (Google, Zoom), we may access the following data:
- Events metadata (calendar names, IDs)
- Event data (event titles, dates, times)
- Scheduling-related information necessary to create or manage events
We only access data that is explicitly authorized by you via Google / Zoom OAuth.
2. How We Use Information
We use collected data strictly to provide and improve the App functionality, including:
- Delivering course management features
- Managing student enrollments and progress
- Creating and managing calendar events via Google Calendar
- Synchronizing course schedules with your calendar
- Providing customer support
Google / Zoom user data is used only to provide user-facing features related to calendar integration.
We do not use Google user data for:
- Advertising
- Selling data
- Data brokering
- AI model training
- Profiling unrelated to app functionality
This complies with Google’s Limited Use requirements
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell personal data.
We may share data only in the following cases:
- With service providers (e.g., hosting, infrastructure) strictly to operate the App

- To protect our legal rights
Google / Zoom user data is not shared with third parties except as necessary to provide the App’s functionality.

Only authorized personnel and systems can access user data.

Google / Zoom user data is retained only for as long as required to provide meetings / webinars functionality.

If you uninstall the App, associated data may be deleted within a reasonable period.
